General Terms and Conditions
At Zeal Design Studio, I strive to make every project a smooth, collaborative, and creative experience. The following terms and conditions outline the standard policies that apply to all services, including logo design, brand identity, VIP Design Days, and other design or consulting work.
By booking a service, you agree to the terms below to ensure clarity, fairness, and mutual respect throughout the process. These policies are designed to protect both the client and Zeal Design Studio while maintaining the flexibility needed for a personalized experience.
General Terms:

Deposits & Payments: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your project and begin work. Remaining balances are due upon completion and approval of final deliverables.

Communication: Clear and timely communication helps keep projects on track. Delays in feedback or approvals may extend project timelines.

Ownership & Usage Rights: Final ownership of approved and paid-for designs transfers to the client upon full payment. Zeal Design Studio retains rights to showcase completed work in portfolios and promotional materials.

Cancellations: If a project is canceled after work has begun, deposits are non-refundable. Any unused concepts, sketches, or drafts remain the property of Zeal Design Studio.

Additional Work: Revisions or requests beyond the agreed project scope may be subject to additional fees and a revised timeline.
These terms support a transparent, respectful collaboration and ensure that every project—from logo design to VIP sessions—runs smoothly from start to finish.
VIP Design Days
Booking & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your VIP Design Day. This deposit confirms your booking and holds your chosen date on the studio calendar. The remaining balance is due on your VIP Day.
Cancelling and Rescheduling
Your VIP Design Day will take place on the specific date/time you have chosen
Clients may reschedule their VIP Day one time within a 90-day period of the original booking. Advance notice is greatly appreciated so your original date can be offered to another client.
If you wish to cancel your VIP Day for any reason other than unforeseen circumstances, no additional fees will be due beyond your non-refundable deposit.
In the unlikely event that the designer (Nicole) is unable to complete the scheduled work due to illness, injury, or personal emergency, you may choose to reschedule your VIP Day or receive a full refund, including your deposit.
Nicole's Responsibilities
During your VIP Design Day, you’ll receive Nicole’s full creative focus and priority attention.
You can expect:

Availability during the time indicated on your scheduled VIP Day.

Regular communication throughout the day via Zoom, email, or messaging.

One additional hour after your Design Day for packaging final files and completing any last-minute revisions.

Complimentary print coordination for any Design Day projects, if needed.

10 business days of email support after file delivery for questions or minor assistance.
Scope of Work & Revisions
The goal of a VIP Design Day is to accomplish as much quality work as possible during the scheduled timeframe, based on your project priorities.

Revisions: Unless otherwise noted, clients are entitled to unlimited revisions during the VIP Day.

Additional Work: Any revisions or updates requested after the VIP Day exceeding one hour will be billed at a rate of $100 per hour.

Deliverables: Zeal Design Studio does not guarantee a specific number of deliverables during a VIP Day. Design output may vary depending on project complexity, client responsiveness, and the number of revision requests.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure a productive and successful VIP Design Day, you agree to:

Provide all copy, images, and materials requested in advance. The pre-work is essential to the success of your project.

Be available throughout the Design Day to provide feedback, approve designs, and respond promptly via video call or email.
Clients are expected to be prepared, responsive, and engaged throughout the day. Zeal Design Studio is not responsible for delays or incomplete work resulting from the client’s lack of preparation, unavailable assets, or slow communication.
Results & Expectations
Zeal Design Studio provides professional design expertise and guidance but makes no guarantees regarding profitability, sales increases, or exposure resulting from the delivered work. Results depend on factors beyond the studio’s control, such as marketing strategy, implementation, and audience engagement.
Ownership & Usage Rights
Upon full payment, ownership and rights to the final approved deliverables created during your VIP Day will transfer to the client. Zeal Design Studio retains the right to display completed work in portfolios, social media, and marketing materials for promotional purposes.
Logo Design Services
Booking & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your Logo Design project. This deposit confirms your booking and allows work to begin. The remaining balance will be invoiced once your final logo design is approved and is due upon receipt.
If you choose to cancel the project after logo design concepts have been created, no additional payment will be due; however, all design concepts remain the property of Zeal Design Studio and may not be used, copied, or reproduced in any form.
Project Timeline & Process
After booking, you’ll receive a custom strategy survey to help define your brand goals, style preferences, and design direction. Once your completed survey is received, the design process will begin.

Design Concepts: Three unique logo design options will be presented within 2 weeks after your booking date.

Revisions: Two rounds of revisions on one selected logo design are included in your project fee. Additional revisions will be billed at $100 per hour.

Final Delivery: Once your logo design is approved, final logo files will be delivered via email within 5 business days.
Final Deliverables
Your final logo package will include:

Formats: Horizontal, stacked, icon-only, and text-only layouts

Colors: Full-color and black versions

File Types: Vector, JPEG, PDF, and PNG files
All files will be organized and optimized for both print and digital use.
Ownership & Usage Rights
Upon full payment, ownership and rights to the final approved logo design will transfer to the client. Zeal Design Studio retains the right to display the project in portfolios, social media, and marketing materials for promotional purposes.
All unused design concepts, preliminary sketches, and unselected options remain the property of Zeal Design Studio.
Communication & Timelines
Prompt communication and feedback are essential to keep your project on schedule. If the client delays feedback or approval, the timeline may be extended accordingly.
Additional Work
Any additional work outside the defined scope—such as alternate color palettes, submarks, or brand collateral—will be quoted separately.
Strategic Brand Identity Packages
Booking & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your Visual Brand Identity project. This deposit confirms your booking and allows work to begin. The remaining balance will be invoiced once your final brand assets are approved and is due upon receipt.
If you choose to cancel the project after initial logo concepts have been created, no additional payment will be due; however, all design concepts and materials remain the property of Zeal Design Studio and may not be used, copied, or reproduced in any form.
Project Timeline & Process
After booking, you’ll be contacted to schedule a face-to-face Brand Strategy Session to define your business goals, target audience, and visual direction. This meeting provides the creative foundation for your brand design.

Brand Concepts: Three unique visual identity concepts will be presented within 3 weeks after your Brand Strategy Session.

Revisions: Two rounds of revisions on one selected brand direction are included in your project fee. Additional revisions will be billed at $100 per hour.

Final Delivery: Once your visual identity is approved, all final brand files and documentation will be delivered via email within 7 business days.

All files will be organized and optimized for both print and digital use.
Ownership & Usage Rights
Upon full payment, ownership and rights to the final approved brand identity will transfer to the client. Zeal Design Studio retains the right to display the project in portfolios, social media, and marketing materials for promotional purposes.
All unused design concepts, preliminary sketches, and unselected options remain the property of Zeal Design Studio.
Communication & Timelines
Timely communication and feedback are essential to maintain your project timeline. Delays in providing feedback, approvals, or requested information may result in an adjusted project timeline.
Additional Work
Any work requested outside the defined scope—such as social media templates, stationery, packaging, or printed marketing materials—will be quoted separately.
